Attempt to enforce inter-government agreement regarding air cargo relocation at Denver International Airport, Board of County Commissioners, Adams County v. Isaac, Federal Aviation Administration, 18 F.3d 1492 (D.C. Cir. 1994)
State of Utah v. Babbitt, 137 F.3d 1193 (10th Cir. 1998) (public land wilderness inventory unlawful under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act as well as county land use plans)
Rangeland Reform litigation Public Lands Council v. Babbitt, 929 F. Supp. 1436 (D. Wyo. 1996), aff'd in part, rev'd in part, 154 F.3d 1160 (10th Cir. 1998) (petition for writ of certiorari before the U.S. Supreme Court granted October 12, 1999);
Environmental and regulatory issues governing the location and development of mining claims on federal land and county authority to regulate mining and other mineral development;
Administrative appeals and evidentiary hearings before the U.S.D.A. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management;
Endangered Species Act litigation and counseling concerning designation of critical habitat and approval of projects through consultation process;
Regulatory takings issues under Antiquities Act and other federal withdrawal authorities, Endangered Species Act, aircraft noise, wildlife management, and denial of access;
Federal and local land use planning issues, including the balance of authority between state and local governments and the federal land managers;
Compliance under the National Environmental Policy Act and related state statutes.
